About the Designer
Veeram Shah’s visit to the local flea market in Gujarat, where he discovered the most potent pieces of furniture, combined with Sona Reddy’s artistic vision, led to a collaboration that breathed new life into them. Their shared passion for preserving and enhancing the beauty of these objects fuelled a project that aimed to not only restore the furniture but also infuse it with fresh purpose and contemporary relevance.
Product Description
The Victorian cabinet is crafted from a harmonious blend of 100-year-old teak and rosewood. The combination of teak’s warm hues and rosewood’s rich reddish-brown tones creates a stunning visual contrast that’s both timeless and captivating.
The delicate mosaic work of the artwork ‘Swing in a Sari’ is a celebration of colour and craftsmanship, making it a true work of art within the piece itself.
